Oh god. I can't even describe how terrible that movie was. It wasn't even WATCHABLE. The CHILDREN in the theater spent the entire time commenting how bad it was.

Got ahold of my friend yesterday who owned the hound (new realid is great for that >.>), apparently they put her through some Canine Massage that got her moving again, and her parents still swear by it for their other dogs. Though I'm not sure how much it costs, or where you might find it. Hopefully...

If it's any help, a friend I grew up with had Basset Hounds, and a similar thing happened, but the dog seemed to recover slowly over a week. She was a bit stiff afterward, and couldn't run as quickly as before, but she still lived a full and healthy lifespan.
