So, news from wow.com....
They say Garrosh is confirmed to be the new leader of the Horde, and goes so far as to evict everyone but orcs and tauren from the inner parts of Orgrimmar because he thinks they're the only ones fit to protect the place.
Meanwhile, goblins continue to be awesome. Their 1-5 starting area takes place in their old capital, which has an atmosphere similar to Grand Theft Auto with goblin druggies and such. Your character starts as a rich, high class executive.
The goblins also reshape Azshara to look like the Horde symbol.

I'm sorry! I never knew that's what this forum was for, all I saw was a mysterious empty forum! I thought it was preparing for like some big Rider storyline. ;_;
Re: More news on Cataclysm, Horde related...*SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY*
Are the WoW devs aware of just how hated Garrosh is among the majority of the WoW fandom?
Re: More news on Cataclysm, Horde related...*SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY*
Staghelm doesn't have even remotely the amount of influence the Warchief of the Horde does. Not lore-wise--the politics of the Cenarion Circle and Whisperwind's general charisma keep him mostly down, and the only time he ever had a "visible" hand in things was in promoting the War of the Shifting Sands. On top of that, he's little more than a footnote in WoW's story in the fanbase's general perception.

Great. They stick the Horde with the one guy that can make Varian Wrynn look like Mahatma Ghandi.

WHY DID I NOT JUST LEAVE HIM IN GARADAR CUTTING HIMSELF AND CRYING. DAMMIT.

Spoiler--Coming in Cataclysm:
Caverns of Time: Nagrand
In a stunning twist on the Meet-The-Asshole-You-From-the-Future angle introduced in the Bronze Dragonshrine quest in Northrend, you get to be the Asshole-You-From-the-Future as you travel back in time a couple of years to stop yourself, at all costs, from cheering up Garrosh Hellscream.
Inexplicably, this is also open to the Alliance.
Dev Philosophy: Enough with the all-fun-and-games "visiting cool events from the past" schtick. It's time for pime taradox to start, thus enabling us to keep WoW's storyline going via insane plot pileups until the end of time.
Re: More news on Cataclysm, Horde related...*SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY*
Only if we get to stab Tyrande in the back.

There needs to be a CoT instance where you turn into Horde, dangit.
