I love you so much right now there are not words in the English language to describe it.

Galedorin's would probably be Silent Reaper, or something along those lines. If he were part of the Hill tribe, then Words-no-wind.

Choplug's is Half-Ripper, of course.

Got it. Sir Jakob Balthasar, during his northern campaign, would be referred to as Gentleman Jak.
Now hang me by this golden noose
'Cause I never been nothin' but your golden goose
Silver tongue don't fail me now
And I'll make my way back to you somehow

You know, I can kinda see the term "gentle man" being used derogatorily in the North.

... yeh feckin' soft-handed pansy.

Yeah, it'd be one of those irony things. The sort of name you give a guy who kicks ass in a fight, but talks about things like chivalry and, well, irony.

I have just discovered these books, and they are amazing. I'm currently about 2/3 through the third one, and can hardly put it down.

The only character of mine that I think would ever qualify for a 'Name' would be Kal. Either 'Scarface' or perhaps just 'the Scarred'.
