I know I don't post here often, but I couldn't resist sharing this. It's just so damn cute. Also, the little cartoon doesn't make sense unless you scroll down and look at the images.

Owls are funny. They are equally capable of being adorable (as documented above), badass, or fucking creepy.

I would so get a pet owl if predatory birds weren't a horrible pain in the ass to keep. >_>

I call severe BS. We ALL know that the owls are not what they seem.

/scared

Edit: (I have to admit that the OP site was very cute, though. But I don't trust them!!!)
Edit edit: *eyes own avatar* *questions sanity* *shuts up*

I know, right? Owls should not fly in slow motion. :P

Owls are my favorite animal, I think. Somewhat of a toss up with rabbits (odd that I'd fall for a predator/prey combo). Either way I've had a massive fascination with Owls, and birds of prey in general, since I was pretty small. Where I lived in New Jersey they had a raptor rehabilitation center called The Raptor Trust where they'd help injured birds on their way, or give them happy retirement homes if they couldn't be re-released.

They had a great grey owl there, and a barn owl that liked to play his own version of "Simon says" with visitors. Also, we've had a barred owl around here in the past, and they're among my favorites, both because they're AWESOME and because their call is "Who cooks for You? Who cooks for Yoooou?"
