Yes, they're my kids. Who cares if they have 4 legs.
I talk about them often enough, and someone *coughKyrcough* seemed interested in my turtles, so I figured I do some intros.
We found Harley crossing a busy highway early one morning. That was 11or 12 years ago. He's an Eastern box turtle, and a real character.
Believe it or not, he actually likes this. Shoulder-turtle, lol.
Musk turtles are cuter than most people give them credit for. This is Minky (top/left), who I've had since she was as big as the first joint of my little finger, and her oldest daughter Binky.
Funny thing is, Minky is the mother of the other 2, and she's the smallest. Winky is the youngest at about... 7 years (I think? can't remember for sure), and she's the largest.
Minky and Binky sitting on top of poor Winky. Technically, Winky is Windstar's, while the other 2 are mine.
Spooky, the red-eared slider. I got him from a coworker of my dad's, whose daughter no longer wanted him.
And Buster, the kitty. First one is at ~6 months old, the rest are more recent. He'll be 3 in September.
The crazy look is pretty typical, in case you're wondering.
He's not really fat, just big. Last vet visit he weighed in at 11 pounds.
That's it!

Will you carry me down the aisle that final day
With your tears and cold hands shaking from the weight
When you lower me down beneath that sky of gray
Let the rain fall down and wash away your pain
