I'll look into that!

So things to work on:

I will be swapping out the post read/unread icons for customs icons as we go.
The banner at the top will eventually rotate through art of Riders.
Double check text colors (Some of it is blending in with its surroundings)
See about giving the forum more width the work with
Better graphical distinction while viewing actual posts.

Anything else you guys would like to see?

Just underline the graphical distinction point. Coming from the rest of the web, these forums make me squint a little - its all soft darkish pastels with little contrast. I'd make the gradient in the header/footer more distinct, or just get rid of the gradient - its distracting (and the blue flame is clashing with the brighter red).

THAT is my 3am-undiplomatic-criticism! Please please please take with a large grain of salt and know that I don't presume to be an expert at all. I think steering a liiiiittle different to a flat black/red WFR 4 LYF colour scheme is good though, else it'd look like a goth teen's livejournal.

The header and footer are just place holders until we can get them set up to do what we want :D

I'm still waffling over the color scheme. I think I may saturate the yellow a bit more and I know there was the possibility of a static background image on either side of the forum itself.

Echoing the fixed-width. Here's a SS of how much room is lost to pinkish-purple on my screen:

The color scheme does kinda seem distinctly feminine.

Well, y'know. Ladies.
Now hang me by this golden noose

Yup, I know how much space is on either side of the forum, mine looks the same way. I liked it s'why I grabbed the base theme I did, but since some folks don't I'll see about making it wider :D

Bricu picked out the colors. I just applied them to echo the rest of the website.

Instead of having it be fixed-width, could we make it a fixed percentage of the screen?

Lone voice liking the fixed width, but I've always preferred something a little narrower for reading purposes, even on a wide screen monitor. (I just find it easier to read long posts if they're not as wide. Call me weird.)

Maybe make this an option for the forums? I dunno if we're set up to have users pick options?
