Scaly business

Postby Tarq » Fri Apr 03, 2009 9:54 pm

So, I won this shit from Sarth tonight. Pretty cool. Bonus cool cause I outrolled Uthas.

Tarquin, as some of you might know, is not a "vanity mount" kinda dude. Few of them have ever been particular IC for him or desired by me; the Twilight was just too cool and unique to pass up. But as long as I have the friggin' thing I should come up with RP for it! So far, this is pretty much what is known about Twilight drakes. They are sentient, like most drakes, and are generally considered an evil group, or if you will, "total douchebags."

I am heavily pondering the idea that Tarq won the drake's services in a poker game, possibly against the drake him/herself, but I am definitely open to suggestions. Personality is also a factor. It's not going to be a big plot thing, but I'd like to take this opportunity to chuck something into Tarq's RP that'll be entertaining for people to play off of.

I'm also very tempted to make it some kind of horrible Twilight pun and make the drake either a vapid marysue or a creepy stalker.
Now hang me by this golden noose
'Cause I never been nothin' but your golden goose
Silver tongue don't fail me now
And I'll make my way back to you somehow

The drake should be a stalker, stalking Tarq. And loved to be ridden by him.

His name is Draike Stalkker, and his humanoid form is a dark-haired Blood Elf whose hair covers one eye. He stands with hands in pockets and follows Tarq everywhere, always avoiding eye contact but staring longingly when he thinks no one is watching.

I like the card game idea. I can just imagine the dragon sitting there playing it with him, in a classic "cunning dragon" Smaug-like pose, hunched over a bit as he looks at his cards, looking sly like he knows his shit. A classic adventurer outwits dragon story.

Bilbo Baggins, standing stealthed behind the dragon, observes a single flaw in its hand of cards. He mentions it aloud and it's heard by a bird that then relays the weakness to Tarquin who plays effectively to exploit it.
