The fact that wolf people in some form appears to really be the new race makes me incredibly sad.
Because there is good and there is evil, and evil must be punished. Even in the face of Armageddon I shall not compromise in this.

If it is true, all the furries are going to drop their cows and play wolf men.

Well, Horde got half your elves, you can have some of their furries.

Y'know, if the whole Gilnean worgen thing turns out to be true, I can only imagine the thoughts of the old Greymane Exiles when the Wall finally opens.

Pfft. The horde got kick ass elves. It's not our fault that 1/2 the people who RP them are bleeding idiots

Though ambivalent in general to the idea of Worgen as a playable race (I've got no good ideas for RP'ing one at the moment), I will stand by the conviction that lycanthrope-ish types have pretty much always been a fantasy staple, and denying that they could possibly have a significant place in Azeroth, where minotaurs turn into trees and heal you, purple elves do backflips for no reason, and you can be best friends with big-tongued magic fishfrogs, walrus-guys, and ghosty-dudes in mummy wrappings, is fairly senseless.

I'll say it here. If worgen are a race, I will play one, and I will /play one well/. And I'm not a fucking furry.
So if you meet me have some courtesy, have some sympathy and some taste. Use all your well-learned politesse or I'll lay your soul to waste.

It can fit in perfectly fine. It's just baseless lore raping bullshittery by Metzen to make some White wolf fanboys happy. My one joy in all this is that alliance worgen will draw window lickers away from the horde.
Because there is good and there is evil, and evil must be punished. Even in the face of Armageddon I shall not compromise in this.

BRB, coming up with a way to reroll Delion as a flamboyantly gay french werewolf.

...werewolf/vampire.

I just find it interesting that the Horde initially had the only race with tails and now the Alliance will have twice as many as they.
