Re: Movie Casting Thread!
Before I give Aely a casting call, I thought I'd introduce you all to the person on whom she's (loosely) based IRL.

(hint - she's the one with the doves on her shield)

As for an actress, I"m thinking perhaps Miranda Otto:
Only her hair needs to be long enough to sit on, and RED, and some hazel contacts. Right hair texture, right skin, right eyes.

Robin Wright Penn is pretty good for Nykkolaia, although better if her jaw was just a touch less square, but this is a particularly good shot. Just add the rest of the character details to her face, heh.

Phileas...I had a pretty good idea of what, or rather who, I was looking for. I just had to go looking through a lot of images to make certain.
For Phileas - James McAvoy.
Yeah, the dialect will be hell, but if he can handle playing a faun, he can handle pseudo-Yorkshire. I just hope he looks "scallywaggian" enough to suit the boy.
Dandill - Jamie Bamber. As Pill put it, "pretty and tough."
Destril, I'm rather stuck on, unfortunately...it's so hard to find a variety of talented actors who happen to be gingers and can pull off those heartbeat changes from sweet to snarling that Des seems to have developed. We'll see who I can come up with.
Kei's not being simple to catch, either. Silly Brat.

Re: Movie Casting Thread!
Kas is a lot tougher, 'cause of the whole Draenei thing, but Rhona Mitra does pretty well for the attitude and general appearance... with shorter hair, horns and blue skin...

MIA PICKED A PORN STAR FOR HER WARLOCK.
I approve.
I approve.
So if you meet me have some courtesy, have some sympathy and some taste. Use all your well-learned politesse or I'll lay your soul to waste.

That hair is very much like Bell's.
Nonetheless, I can't seem to find an actress that fits Bell...

Sam Elliott works pretty well for Beltar, with serious beard extensions of course.
Linedan would obviously be a particularly studly piece of CGI, voiced by Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile).
