Ulthanon opened his eyes, casting a confused glance about the room. It took him only a second to regain his bearings; he was in the Gilded Rose, in Stormwind. It was two weeks past Midsummer, and there was nobody in the room except for Indarra and Ghost, who were both sleeping soundly. Without a sound, he tiptoed around the room just to be sure of that, checking closets and under the bed- just in case. But Stormwind was a generally safe city, and whatever thugs might want to crawl through his open window wouldn't be a problem for any of the room's three occupants to deal with.
Now totally confused, he quietly slipped back into bed and pulled the light summertime sheet back over himself. Indarra's breathing came soft and shallow, totally peaceful. He watched her for awhile, making triple-sure she was alright, before he drifted back off to sleep.

The hell had woken him up?
