Yeah - I've seen miniatures before.
For reference:
http://picasaweb.google.com/LaurMM/SCAS ... 7453153282 the little box that holds the versal/little butterfly is about 2'' square. So somewhat bigger than the miniatures, but still on a pretty small scale.
Also, looking back at that piece, I've gotten quite a bit better since then >.>

Incidentally, those minis are absolutely ideal for D&D games.

I would also check out Pioneer Press' minis. Every one you buy helps feed my god daughter.

I usually lurk here, but since I also enjoy painting minis, I figured I'd post. I got started with my D&D group, and kept on doing them for fun. I should put up a pic of the latest dragon once I get it finished. This site
http://www.miniaturemarket.com/ has discounts and also sells the paints that Reaper puts out. The pro series is decent for both the paint and the monies. I haven't seen Pioneer Press, but I'll check them out. /second for the linkage
