Wildfire Riders

By deciding that I definitely wanted the Definitive Tarq Song to be something in the broad Celtic punk genre, I managed to narrow it down to four choices. I think.

Flogging Molly - Man With No Country (lyrics/song)
Flogging Molly - Selfish Man (lyrics/song)
The Tossers - A Criminal of Me (lyrics/song)
The Pogues - Rake At the Gates of Hell (lyrics/song)

HALP.

Like Tarq, I'm having trouble coming up with a song that fits Aely. I've got a list of songs that fit into aspects or situations? But I can't seem to break that down into just one song for a soundtrack.

I've narrowed it to four:
Fields of Gold - Eva Cassidy (listen)
Ailein Duinn - Meav (listen)
Speeding Cars - Imogen Heap (listen)
Days - Kirsty MacColl (listen)

Of the lot, Speeding Cars is probably the most situational (post - WG), but I can't seem to make myself eliminate it. Anyway - what do you folks think?

My few cents for the indecisivers:

Lans: I'd lean more toward Power of Thy Sword. Lans strikes me as a generally solo sort, and that song gives more of an image of a lone man being awesome.

Tarq: Depending on whether you want to portray the guilty or the gleeful Tarq, my thoughts are Man With No Country or Rake At the Gates of Hell.

Aely: I don't know Aely as well, so for what my vote counts... As much as I adore the Gaelic song to pieces, I'd lean toward Fields of Gold first, Days a close second.

I think you can guess why I like it for him.

However, in respect to the population who utter bloodcurdling screams at the thought of Jpop/anime music, I offer an alternative. Or, as I like to call it, an event in which Moulin Rouge teaches me music history. Nature Boy - Nat King Cole (lyrics/this version, definitely not this version).

There is a Marvin Gaye version, too. Not that one. Sorry, Bric.

Finally figured out Beltar's. "The Weight," by The Band. It's just got that whole world-weary traveler thing going that really suits his background.

I'm a sucker for free music, you can throw Tif on there, as well.

As mentioned in the music thread, I finally found what I think is a great song for Tif, and I wanted to find one that didn't have to do with battle or science, and it took me a long time to do so. It's still M4 Part II, by Faunts.
