All her other problems aside, Adel has been working hard to investigate Homrend's death and the subsequent attack on Mugs. Autopsy, testing bomb materials, make, etc. She's had a bit of experience with Mechagnomes (which the current suspect is said to be) and thus is rightfully worried, given the nature of most of those mechanical creatures. Several of the sticks have privately warned her that she is in danger, now that the enemy possibly knows what information she has given them.

This, coupled with the fact that a bounty on Tif's head has several goons looking to use her as bait, has her rightfully paranoid.

Those in the Pig may notice a strange engineering device not far from the stairs, and malfunctions from their buzzboxes when inside. The Sticks were kind enough to provide a mechanical disruptor based on the engineering recipe of the same nature. (url='http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=54736)

To confirm rumor, Bellesta did in fact get a pair of new piercings, but not for the reason everyone thinks. She decided putting holes in her body was a good way to continue to decorate herself with two-headed wolves.

...guys, Homrend was killed by a Suicide Cylon?

Fells wasn't close to Homrend, but still thought as highly of him as she's capable of. His death hit her hard. While this stress could have come at a worse time, it only really had a couple weeks' window in which to do so. She's due in four with the twins.

At last night's panic over the possibility of the Pig coming under attack, Fells was escorted first to the Thread, and then very carefully to Moonglade. If things stay the way they are, she's not going anywhere until she's
two small people lighter. Even if Stormwind became safe tomorrow, moving her to Moonglade was a pretty dangerous proposal. Moving her back could spawn something bad. No one wants midflight labor happening.

Laurus has been trying to apologize for a recent slight she's taken offense to. She's letting Shad tell him where she is, and is almost expecting him not to show. He has a couple weeks' leeway to figure it out in.

Aely is slowly coming to the realization that if she doesn't actively deal with some of the stuff she's walled off and not dealt with, out of some kind of attempt to "remain functional and not have a breakdown"... it's going to deal with her, and probably at a really inopportune time. She's trying to process this into something reasonable, which is proving difficult, since "get up and keep going" has meant actually not dealing with anything, but dealing with it means she actually has to, you know, face up to some really unpleasant emotions and memories.

Arrens has given her a book to read and suggested she take some time off that didn't involve finding somewhere else to work. When he asked her when the last time was that she had a day to do nothing, a day that didn't involve working and didn't involve being too drunk to remember herself, she couldn't answer him.

A couple days ago, the bomber who was behind Homrend's killing attacked Adel in her shop. The target was most likely the evidence and research in the shop more than her. Nonetheless, the shop is now completely burned out. Adel managed to get outside just soon enough to brace the door when it blew. Both Adel and said door found themselves quite squished against the opposite wall. The burns on her were taken care of quickly, but the lasting damage to her back, hips, and leg are obvious when she walks. She's been using her staff as a walking stick to keep mobile and is mostly refusing help from others.

The building her shop was in can be salvaged, given that it was in the Dwarven District and mostly surrounded by stone walls. However, nothing inside of note survived. The bomb reduced everything to slag and ash.

Delion is getting slightly frayed at the edges trying to keep up the persona of Dani'elle and not knowing how to get rid of his predicament. Currently staying with Fells in Moonglade to keep her company (and because she will never catch on), and trying to avoid his increasingly attention-seeking, Delion-missing apprentice.

He has embarrassingly confided in Fearinal, in the hopes that the man's excessive reading has (or will) turn up an option for removing the hex/curse/trick.

Tif had a run in with an old girlfriend last night, one that was dear friends with Lucasis, and she didn't exactly take Tif shooting him up too well. She died, but not before putting a number on Tif. Adel hastily managed to stabilize him, and he is currently resting out at the island they own.

Pride of place over the bar at the Pig and Whistle is now shared between the familiar old Argent Banner, and a somewhat weathered but intact Rider tabard, made to fit a large human, with a stylized "L" worked onto the breast.

Tarquin ran out of ways to commiserate and stalked out into the night, angry at himself that he didn't see it coming, angry at Jolstraer for having the temerity to die on him, and angry at the world that won't let him just drop his responsibilities and mourn his friend like a normal person. He is desperately hoping that someone tries to mug him or something.

Last night, Xionn was in a bit of a mood. He saw a bloke with an ugly purple hat and told him it was. Said haberdashing offender then punched Xionn who was looking for a fight anyway, and then Xionn beat the shit out of him. He ran to the pig after evading a few guards and showed up with a bruised cheek. After getting himself thoroughly trashed he stumbled out of the bar to head for the safety of his ship. He's also gotten himself and his crew into a contract with a certain paladin to transport "goods" up behind scourge lines via their ship. At least the pay is good.

Aleros on the other hand is finding one of Seylon's sentinels crushing on him. At the same time, his brother has called to meet with him at the Pig about family matters, but only in the dead of night. What could Xionn want from Aleros? Aleros also was not there to hear about Jolly's death.

Fogrum, our little mountain spirit who has been RPly retired for a few years is just now beginning to feel the deep tremors and moans of the earth. A little dwarf shaman may be coming down off his mountain in the coming months...

Beltar was hit harder by Jolly's death than he let on--considering that he's the dwarven equivalent of a human in his early 50s, and lived a hard life, it reminds him of his mortality in ways he normally prefers not to think about.

To take his mind off of it, he has gone back up to Icecrown to, as he put it in the Pig last night, "call down th' fuckin' thunder on th' Scourge 'til th' mountains scream fer mercy."
