My love of vidya gaem music trumps all.
This time, I've stumbled upon some music from the up-and-coming Final Fantasy XIII (due out March, at last check). Uematsu's not the composer; Sakimoto, same guy that did XII seems to be the one here, but it's increasingly obvious he's taken up the mantle really damn well. Give a listen if you're in the mood for some good old-fashioned JRPG audio joy.
Fight music. Epic violin is epic. May be my new favorite RPG "regular" battle music to date (replacing that from Xenosaga I)
Theme of Lightning, heroine. You can hear the leitmotif that's going to be undoubtedly cropping up throughout.
Theme of something to do with the good guys. Definitely got that old-school fantasy feel.
Some triumphant/fanfare-y music. Dunno what this goes to, but it sounds like something you'd like, muster an army to go slay a bunch of dragons to.
Chocobo theme. Your old chocobos were tricycles, scooters, and import sedans. Your new chocobo is a pimp machine.
