Wildfire Riders

My puppy Lulu is partially paralyzed from the shoulders down. We don't know what's causing it or why. Dave and I have been at the vet with her twice since 3 am last night, they suggest a disk problem or a potential stroke. She is NOT in pain is what the vet is telling us, so that's our one consolation. They've jacked her up on steroids and have told us to keep her movement to a minimum.

Long story short, no raid, dog problems, year old dog, shouldn't be happening, I'd like to choke myself to death on razorblades, blah blah blah.

Harts.

If it's any help, a friend I grew up with had Basset Hounds, and a similar thing happened, but the dog seemed to recover slowly over a week. She was a bit stiff afterward, and couldn't run as quickly as before, but she still lived a full and healthy lifespan.

I hope Lulu is okay!

Update: Dog is walking. Wobbly, but much less so than yesterday. Not hedging bets yet, but this is about 180 degrees better than yesterday.

Got ahold of my friend yesterday who owned the hound (new realid is great for that >.>), apparently they put her through some Canine Massage that got her moving again, and her parents still swear by it for their other dogs.

Though I'm not sure how much it costs, or where you might find it. Hopefully Lulu continues to get better!
