Well Wishing For The New Year 'n' Shit

Providing no one in New Zealand (or anyone east of Canberra) played Rock Band tonight, the very first gamer-related song of the decade was played by myself, Chris, Danny and Bruce, at 12:01am, 01/01/11 and it was 'The Power of Love'.
We have blessed this decade for all gamers henceforth. May your 2011 be full of love (and epics).

In the spirit of all things Good Southern (As opposed to Dumb Southern, like not putting the cars in the garage), I humbly suggest that you consume Black Eyed Peas for the New Year. They are lucky, and also delicious. The traditional New Year's Food is in a spicy ham and bean soup called Hoppin' John.
I, knowing the finickyness of gamers and also the snack-loving-ness that will eat just about anything if it is intended to be consumed on tortilla chips (or bread), suggest the version that allows you to eat them as bean dip with tortilla chips:

Happy New Year's!
I'm cooking up some cheese n' bacon dip to take with me for the festivities tonight. Can't go wrong with ringing in 2011 with cheese, bacon, and beer.
