Yo Folks

Lately I've found it difficult to follow Tuesday night RP as there is /so/ much information in the /say channel. Anyone have an Addon or a suggestion to help make this more managable?

I have my channels broken out into three windows:

Guild, /say, and IC channels in the lower left.
OOC channels middle right
Whispers bottom right

That generally lets me keep up with things, though when the Pig is really hopping, even the /say channel can scroll by awfully fast (even when it's as big as my vanilla UI will allow me to set it.)

Also, color-coded channels. I know whether someone's talking in our OOC channel or perfidy at a glance, or which buzzbox channel Bricu's currently instigating on.

I color code mine, which helps quite a bit. I'm sure I missed some things last night and on other Tuesdays, there's a lot to keep track of and I usually have a hockey game on the TV too. But I haven't found any addons yet.

I do have two message boxes: OOC stuff on one side, RP and important channels on the other. I use PRAT to help keep things clear... But I still was a bit confused lastnight.

Any other suggetions?

PRAT is the only one I can think of for helping. That and making the chat window as big as possible during RP time - pain in the ass, yeah, but I figure that's why its' modular.

Not sure if its PRAT or Fonter, but also reducing the font size a hair could help. Unless, you know, you're old.

And if that doesn't work, then I have Illi lose the train of conversation and just say something about killing someone, or kissing some old dude.

Illi didn't specify what she'd use to do the kissing, ya know. Is it a lips kind of night? Or an axe kind of night? OR BOTH?
