I do intended to observe religious practices though.

Normally on St. Pat's I'd make corned beef and cabbage with potatoes* and a loaf of soda bread**, and have good beer. Unfortunately, though, right now my kitchen is a disaster and my new kitchen is a construction zone, and most of my cooking equipment is in boxes. Oh, and my oven is broken.

So I might have a beer before I collapse into bed exhausted from remodeling work. >.>

I have taken it upon myself to lie to people about the history of St. Patrick's day. The best lie (that was believed)

Also: I am not wearing green. I bleed irish (even if I look mafiso). I don't need no fucking green to be irish.

If someone asks me where my green is, I'll tell them it's in my liver.

My way of celebrating today was going to be subjecting my co-workers to nonstop Irish music over the PA system. Today coincided with corporate fuckaroos making a visit, and made me change it 15 min after I had gotten to work. So, irish fail for me.

We were gonna get married. Sadly, the license isn't valid until Wednesday. So maybe we'll just get drunk and pretend >_>

I hate alcohol so bad right now.
