Wildfire Riders

Hello folks.

Tarquin and I have been discussing (see bashing our heads off of) our ten man rosters for Ulduar and new content coming with 3.2. The challenge is to make well balanced groups that will see progress in good time. That being said, we'd like to shuffle up the Sunday/Wednesday groups, and in addition move the Sunday group to early Monday evenings as discussed. We think we've got a pair of rosters that will see mucho succosso. We've been really happy with how things have been going to this point with the respective runs, but we think with a few tweaks, things can go even better.

First things first, if you cannot make the night we are proposing for you, please say so in this thread! We have ample time to move things around if needed. Also, please note we're not making the switch this week. When everyone's confirmed up that they're comfortable with our raid nights, we'll post a "real start date".

Proposed Rosters

Team Monday
Tanks: Dauganimir, Calenbraga
Healers: Zalbuu, Aelflaed, Skyborne
Melee: Israia, Tarquin
Ranged: Aieryn, Laurus, Elohn

Team Wednesday:
Tanks: Varenna, Jak
Healers: Threnn, Haemon, Kaidenmar
Melee: Denne, Iludentes
Ranged: Alishe, Darrows, Ulthanon

Again, please remember that these aren't finalized rosters. Changes can, and will, be made if necessary - if you can't make X day, don't want to play Y character, or so forth. And of course, anyone interested in subbing let us know. We're interested in really well geared (i.e., 10-man Ulduar minimum in most slots) alts or raiding mains as we're doing hardmodes and these aren't easy! Thanks again, guys. <3

In short, I'm in. I will miss one Monday raid a month (most likely) due to my continuing calligraphy/illumination class (that has been canceled frequently, so who knows), and will do my best to have someone to fill in the hole on that day.

Also, Wednesdays are bad news bears, since I have to go hang out with that scrub rogue Phileas? (<3!) But if there's a week that isn't going to happen and you need subbage of the brainhealing variety, you're more than welcome to bring Annorah on Wednesday, who will happily provide you with Windfury and Heroism.

I vote we rename Team Wednesday to "Team Cooler Than Team Monday".

EDIT: By the above, I mean to say that I worry that the complete absence of mage buffs in the Wednesday raid is something of a handicap. AB + Focus + foods can make a real difference in time and mana drain, especially on hardmodes.

I'll admit, also, that Fells brings up a point I'd forgotten, which is that I am frequently the sole healer for the retro raiding crew. I am aware that there would be a great deal of shifting involved for me to be on Monday. If it would be possible, I would prefer it. If not, I understand.

I'll be there with all of Denne's Fish Feasts and all of Dennagain's INT Scrolls. Inscription research. Yay.

What was being discussed for start times? I think I heard 4:00 for one of the runs. Until school starts again in a few weeks (shifting my work schedule earlier), I'm presently clocking out right around then two or three days a week.

If there's ever need for a DPS sub, I can step into one of these.

I actually have a semi-humanlike schedule now.
