Wildfire Riders

So this book, The Lies of Locke Lamora, has a protagonist that shares a great many traits with our own Nothron Rogue. To whit: After exposition regarding sorcerors, wherein our hero is given the lesson of "always be polite," Locke pulls a tarquin and says to the Mage (with a falcon) who has him, "nice bird, asshole."

Brilliant.
