Tibeten Mastiffs are being used as a status symbol in China. Honestly I don't know what makes me sicker. That they don't really seem to care about the dogs themselves, or that they're spending their money in such ridiculous ways. 30 Mercedes-Benzes to get a dog she likely bought for a few thousand dollars when they go for a few hundred over here? What's wrong with these people?

People keeping ridiculous things as status symbols has been around for ages, sadly. It has grown no less facepalm-worthy.
Some carried the names of wealthy Americans like "Warren Buffett," while others were called "God" and "Prince."
I cannot help but laugh.

The naming scheme is pretty good, yeah.

As a huge, huge dog lover, this makes me kinda sad. Publicity almost always = bad things (such as health/behavior problems) happening to the breed. :(
