Paladin swearing in ceremony, transcribed from "Of Blood and Honor", feminized because Aely = girl but Tirion Fordring = Boy. This happens in flashback/dream after Tirion has been clobbered over the head.
(She would've started wearing only a white linen shirt and pants.)
Archbishop: "In the light, we gather to empower our sister. In its grace, she will be made anew. In its power, she shall serve the masses. In its strength, she shall combat the shadow. And in its wisdom, she shall lead her brethren to the eternal rewards"
She was then anointed with oil on her palms and brow by the Clerics of Northshire, draped with a dark blue stole, and told "By the grace of the Light, may your brethren be healed".
The Paladins of the Silver Hand then dressed her in ceremonial armor, gave her a two handed mace, and said "By the strength of the Light, may your enemies be undone".
She was asked "Do you vow to uphold the honor and codes of the Order of the Silver Hand?"
"Do you vow to walk in the grace of the Light and spread its wisdom to your fellow man?"
"Do you vow to vanquish evil wherever it be found, to protect the innocent with your very life, and to serve always what is right, honorable, and good?"
Answering "By my blood and my honor, I do", the members of the Clerics and Paladins lay their hands on her, filling her (and the room) with blinding, searing light, before being given the title of Paladin and Knight of the Silver Hand.
