Or not, as it seems the lockout isn't listed in my raid browser. =( I'm so up for going though!

Sorry I missed this but my account is currently awaiting my next paycheck before it will let me play again, which will be the end of the month. Good luck in their folks.

Sorry we couldn't get anything going tonight, folks. I'll kick it around and see what we can accomplish over the coming weeks to practice our button-mashing.

Maybe this is the right place to ask...with the Wrynn buff and new 4.0.1 changes, how much does gear make a difference in ICC these days?

It would be a nice bonus if Lans could also walk away from level 80 with Kingslayer, but his gear's only mostly T9, some T8, and even some T7-equivalent. >_>

From a tanking perspective the trash mobs in ICC scare me. With no more consistant aoe threat gen and heroic strike/cleave on a 6 second cooldown DPS really have to watch themselves. But no more -20% dodge buff makes me think the single target boss type fights will be much easier than they were.

What Gren said. I'm expecting AOE threat to be harder, but my overall damage taken to be lower because of losing the dodge debuff. Reforging also let me toss a bit less out of hit and a bit more into parry. We're running ICC 10 with my raid tonight (two tanks are my DK and a warrior), so I'll see how that goes. As long as DPS is careful, it should be ok. I'll toss up some random impressions here after tonight's run.

Also am free Sunday, Thursday, and Friday this week.
