Happy hour is over and Bartleby is drunk. Most of the regulars are out of the pub, but the are some new faces In addition to the serving crew. At the small table just under the stairs, a tall man is sitting drinking more than his fair share of top shelf liquors. The empty mugs and glasses say he should be drunk. His posture is still ramrod straight--arrogant even. His eyes are puffy and half closed. He seems to be on the look out for someone.
(if you were at Wrathgate, you know who this is.)
The other new comer is far to young for the Pig. He's wears his peach-fuzz beard with Pride and is wearing a heavy shirt made of wool dyed jet black. It is clearly the most expensive piece of clothing he owns. He is sitting at a table at the loft space. He begs Elly to bring him something strong than watered down wine, but she does no such thing.

Lorelli wanders into the bar. Her attention appears to be on a piece of parchment in her hand but she takes note of the unfamiliar faces and their attitudes. She flags Elly down and orders a drink at normal volume. She then drops her voice and inquires about the guests.
"A little extra DPS never killed anyon... Oh wait."
"Still alive, I see. Clearly you're not trying hard enough."

Sadiraia tentatively made her way into the Pig a reasonable amount of minutes since the last arrival. She didn't look as though she didn't belong, but she did clearly have a newness about her. Youth had disappeared to be replaced by a haggard expression that permeated throughout. She trudged to the gate with a grim bark for ale, though it was not an impressive sound coming from her. The other patrons were just that, at the moment - other patrons and nothing more.
"I left my home where the dead never rose
But the streets of gold i've yet to find
And at the end of the day all you can do is pray
Without hope well you might as well be blind, yeah be blind
Tomorrow comes a day too soon"

The man in the corner continues drinking. He glances at Lore and Sadiara before returning to his mug. The young man upstairs gets up from his table and stands at the rail. He leaves his glass of milk at his table.
Re: Cataclysm Event RP.
Elly nods to the woman who just entered, “Right with you.” She says. Turning back to Lorelli, she replies quietly.
“Guy in the corner is military. I can tell. The kid upstairs is Andry. He’s a local boy going through and awkward stage. Poor thing lost his aunt and uncle during the Longest Night. I let him sweep up some nights for spare coppers.
He’s part of a new crew in Old Town. Thinks of himself as a future Wildfire Rider. He wants to be Tarquin.”
Lorelli thanks Elly as the human woman moves away. The rogue shakes her head almost imperceptibly, bitterly amused at the delusions of youth. If anyone actually knew what they were getting into beforehand, they wouldn’t choose this life.
“Time to do my good deed for the day.” Lorelli mutters under her breath. She tilts her head glancing up at Andry, “Hey kid. Come on down, have a seat.” She gestures to the empty chair across the table from her.

The kid looks as if he is going to say something--something like "I'm not a kid!"--but he stops himself and heads towards Lore. He's he smoothes out the front of his shirt, nearly obsessing over one wrinkle. He sits at the table, hands in front, and studies Lore.
"You're the new hire, the one they poached from the Fancy Pants school. Loreli, right?" He says with a thick, and real, Southron accent.

Loreli laughs and picks up her drink leaning against the back of her chair. She offers a rather dazzling smile, “The one and only. Though, do I really qualify as new? Its been a number of months.”

"This lot doesn't hire often. The newest one is Illithias--the crazy one--but she's been working for them on side jobs for years now. Most folk were here before they went North. So yeah, you're kinda new. And you're kinda secret too. I know you worked for the Professor...but before that?" he shrugs. "only rumors. Did Bricu or Tarq tell you to sit with me?"
Re: Cataclysm Event RP.
Lorelli shakes her head, "What I did before is of no consequence and just that. What I did before. Its what I'm doing now that matters." She takes a drink from her glass, "So I'm not conducting business, if that's what you think. Simply put, you looked like you could use some company. Course, I'm not fond of the loft. So I asked you down here." There's a momentary pause as she regards him, "And why are you here tonight?" Its a friendly inquiry.

Andry pouts for a split second before he puts on a stone face. He stiffens his lip and lets himself sigh artfully...
(Quite simply put, he would probably prefer to be upset, but he's being a brave little soldier).
"I asked Elly ta get Bricu or Tarq for me. She said she would. I Figured... Well, I'm here because one of my crew is missing. He's a twa---he's a wank---he's not a good person, but he's in my crew. I have to look out for him."
