Not only do they have a great name, but Black and Red notebooks are made with probably the best (easily obtained*) commercially available writing paper around as well. It holds up to heavy ink and fountain pens like a charm.
I say easily obtained, because clairefontaine is hands down the best fountain pen paper ever, but it's hard to find, even in specialty art stores, because it's imported - I mail order mine. Black and Red, however, is available at Office Thing and sometimes even at the Wal Marts.
