Fan Ficlet Contest

Righto, listen up.

I am going to host a contest. A WFR and Friends Ficlet Contest. You have 1,024 characters (I'll fudge a bit for spaces) to tell the following story:

A Wildfire Rider, walking through Old Town, gets mugged. What happens to the Rider and the Mugger?

There will be prizes for 1st place, 2nd Place and 3rd place. Everyone who enters will get something--be it praise, constructive criticism or something more tangible.

Points will be awarded for: Sticking to #of characters, sticking to the spirit of the subject, creativity and helping to advance a personal story or plot.

Oh, here's the catch: You have to write about someone else. That's right. Its a IN HOUSE FAN FICLET CONTEST.

Tarq has dibs on Jolly (He's the guild leader, he can do that). Since I'm the judge, I will not write one myself.

Submissions start today and end 1/19/09. Winners will be announced 1/20.

Submissions should be emailed or PM'd. You can post it as well, but for sake of convenience, please get them to me. Hell, get them to me so I can get an official character count BEFORE posting.
