Would folks object to me sending off word to WoW Insider to plug the Riders, The Rose, Noxilite and the Boomsticks to WoW Insider?

Depends.

Is it going to crash the Rose site if you do? Or will I just have to deal with another influx of recruits?

There are days when I envy the Rider invite-only policy.

I have no idea. I would assume that you wouldn't get an influx of recruits, but I don't know anything about your hosting site.
