So. Last night was our first attempt, in which we encountered unending spawns that were supposed to end, the Suppression Room, which is filled with evil, hate, and slow movement, and realization that we do indeed need those Onyxia cloaks if we want to survive.

But! The weekly run will be Wednesday, starting roughly 6-7 server time.

Basic rule of Don't Be a Dick applies. If you're looking for a set, feel free to roll.

Also noted last night was Elementium Ore for anyone hoping to nab a Thunderfury at some point (this will result in MC runs eventually. Yes, I'm sort of crazy like that. Plus, Fells would be awesome with a sword 3 times larger than she is.)

Bell will post the more technical notes.

Sorry I wasn't around - didn't realize we'd be making a go of it last night ;) I'll be ready to roll next Wednesday though - preferably 6 server if at all possible? Us east-coasters are problematic that way, hehe.

No worries Jol; it was more a "can we do it?" run. (No, we can't until we get a few Ony hide cloaks.)

There you have it. We wish for a 6:00 start, unless that's a problem for anyone?

Fight Notes:

Razorgore
Basically, the fight just takes foreeeever because you need 2 people babysitting the MC orb, as the Mind Exhaustion debuff is still a problem. Killing the adds with one healer and 5ish people running about was easy as hell. ...
... until after razorgore was down, and the adds KEPT SPAWNING.

In fact, he's badly bugged. We all need to leave the instance if the adds spawn (as they won't stop, ever) and wait about 5 minutes for them to despawn.

Vael
Vael's burning adreneline is still an instant kill. It's not damage, it's just boom you're dead lulz. Hence, we used 3 tanks (Feliche, myself, and Dravir with a shield) in case we all kaboomed. Nonetheless, he only has 990k health, and is a quick kill. He only blew up 3 of us before he dropped.

Supression Room
is made of hate. No really. it makes me cry. Fells was able to disarm the traps some, but they pop back up AND all the mobs there respawn every 30 seconds. They're fast kills, but they're annoying

Everything Else
was a walk in the park. Except for debuffs and shadow flame, which can begin to tick for upwards of 5000-10000 the damage is minimal. Putting the tanks with ony cloaks will make it ezmode.

Suppression Room is one of those things that, no matter what level you are, it will be a PITA.

6 server is much better for me as well. And let's work on getting some of those Ony cloaks made!

If Fells is the only rogue next time again, tag me and I'll help out. It's pretty rare for a stealthed 80 rogue to be spotted in the suppression room, so keeping on top of things would be easier. (Also, I still have my Ony cloak in my bags. =D)

I was amazed at how fun this was. I mean, I was expecting it to be awesome, but it was still the first raid I've ever been on that hasn't been a "We're All OP But Fells, Lawls" run. I am really, really looking forward to this Wednesday.

Alrighty! That day has rolled around again, invites go out about 6pm server. Any and all are welcome.

Last week was HUGE SUCCESS, with a few pieces for everyone. Even stupid AXES EVERYWHERE for Feliche.
Here's hoping for attempt 3!

BLOODFANG

BLOODFANG BLOODFANG BLOODFANG

I am happy - nay, giddy - to report that hood, gloves, and shoulders are now mine, all mine! Additionally, this is the best RP run I have ever had ever. Ever.
