OOC: Idea bounce - Longest Night

Thinking of holding an extended Tuesday Night RP on October 27th, as it just so happens to be the 1 year anniversary of The Longest Night, which ended at dawn on the 28th of last year.

Would likely be somewhere in Stormwind, unless another idea presents itself. Possibly a shindig, or at least some kind of show of "Never Again" solidarity. With booze.

Good idea, bad idea, your suggestions?

I think this is an AWESOME idea. Would we wanna make it available at large?

I'm down. It'll give me impetus to finish what I started with Bricu in Jail.

I'm fine with opening it up at large, though I'd like to at least have a Never Again toast, probably with Bourbon.

Stormwind Docks, or Pig and Whistle?

Is there someone that sells booze near the Docks?

There isn't. And a damn travesty that is!

However, given what's being commemorated, the harbor would be a pretty poignant location considering how much fighting went down there shortly after, and then how it became a send-off point for lots of the Alliance forces heading to Northrend in retaliation. The Pig ain't bad either, but it's played host to a ton of other events as well; the docks would most definitely get my vote.

(If I can make the event, I'm bringing Norvallen. For better or worse.)

Ok - Stormwind Harbor it is. And between the lot of us, I'm quite sure we can work out enough bourbon to go around XD
