At the apex of a rather ridiculous couple of days, Tarquin discovered that resident dirty old man/murderous bastard Giorgi is his paternal grandfather. This left him with a lot of questions needing answers, so as soon as Giorgi could make headway on his own two feet, Tarquin collared him and set out for Eastvale to confront his father Orwend. He's pretty sure that in all likelihood, he's just going to confirm to himself what he already thinks - his family can go fuck themselves.

While he's in Eastvale, the office is closed for business.

Adel Ashawe's relationship has fallen apart, thanks to a number of factors. She's mildly depressed, sour, and unsure who she's supposed to be mad at.

But hey, that's everything Tif ever wanted, right?

Naiara is in the stage of development known as object formation. For Bricu and Threnn, this means Naiara cries when people leave and enter rooms. This will continue for about a month or two.

Bricu is buying property and, in general, is the happiest he has ever been in his entire life.

Adel, Tiforis, Feliche, and Aely were in the Pig tonight, with Shaurria/Windstar, Frazle, and Jaycin when Mugrir (Mugs) came in, wild eyed and tearing through the place.

Mugs informed them that Homrend's body had been found, dead in his office to some sort of explosive device.

He was looking for Tarquin. Someone is holding Homrend's body in suspension - likely of decay - until more evidence can be found. There are currently no leads, but folk are hoping it is some kind of fake (and not the real Homrend).

[Delion]

Delion ate some bad Hallow's End candy and on a completely unrelated note, seems to be out of town while his cousin, Dani'elle has come to visit.

[Dravir]

In an unrelated note, Tif, Adel, and Fariesi inspected Homerends body, concluding that he was, in fact, blown the hell up.

Immediately after, Adel was buzzed with news that Mugs was attacked, also by bomb. The culprit seems to be either a mechagnome, or a robotic gnome-puppet-thing; no one is really sure yet.

The plot has thickened: fucking beware gnomes.
(The Sticks are very wary of -any- gnomes, even fellow Sticks. They may require you to show that you bleed like an actual living creature.)

[Denne]

Denne is presently more irritated than she should be following the gathering to honor Homrend. She was prepared for sadness or somber celebration, but left feeling that the majority of the Boomsticks were acting like hostile children too focused on vengeance to pay mind to the man whose life was lost. She doesn't want to talk about it. She is determined, however, to update the papers of her will. The financial details have always been in order and meticulously up to date, but she'd never given serious thought to the social aspect of things, and it occurs to her now to make sure her wishes, whatever they may be, are known.

Rosilia: Head's about to go boom. No idea what to do about Arrens. Less idea what to do about Tif. Fairly clueless on how to be Adel's friend, but is going to try very very hard. Aely may have saved her sanity last night.

Yva: Relishing a very destructive end to Cattania. And waiting for Jak. Like a spider in a web. She's decided /no one will fuck with Fells or Avers/. So don't.

Seylon: Being as big a shit as Skyborne could ever hope to be. Now we know where kitten-sama gets it from. She's enlisted Feliche's help in training a troop of her girls. And now she wants him to pay.

[Shad]

Shad is working on no less than three contingency plans for Fells's safety after Mugrir's assertion that she and Chelody may be at risk of gnome attack. Normally, he would trust this sort of situation to the Drachmases and Riders and wait for real sorts of evidence that she's in danger, but there are two very nearly spawned fetuses for whom he takes personal responsibility, and is laying out possibilities for them to be born in a safe and clean environment. Better still, Fells can have her choice of plans.

Possibility that this will lead to him asking Norra to dress up with mock pregnancy and wear Fells's clothes: high-larious.
