A Few Overdue Thoughts:

We've seen some amazing RP lately, folks, and I figured instead of gushing at everyone individually I'd make a big blanket thread of epic fucking awesome.

- First thank you to Jolly for his amazing send off to Jolstraer. That was beautifully written and handled, and I cannot express how touched I was by the whole thing. I will admit I am absolutely beside myself that we won't see you and Mia around much, but you should both know you are very loved, very missed, and at any time that you two feel comfortable enough to come hang out, you should come shoot the breeze with us in exileooc just to keep us up to date on your baby nerdlet. Best of luck to both of you, and again, thank you for that gorgeous piece of fiction.

- Second gold star goes to Aely. You've astounded me three times in so many weeks. First with the longest night and how you put on Tarq's mantle to give a fuck-all rousing speech, secondly on your work on the Jolstraer fiction and in character delivery of said news at the ensuing wake, and thirdly on the glorious 'fuck you' to Bricu last night. Each time I've goose pimples, seriously. That's some seriously excellent roleplay.

- Third goes to Arrens for giving the Riders an amazing bit of plot to toy with in his metamorphosis RP. He essentially had the fucking goon squad on his back the other night and he rolled with it. I don't know how many roleplayers (especially -relatively new ones- to a server) could handle staring down the Wildfire Riders and not take it as some personal affront to his story arc. You've been utterly chill about all of it, we love having you around IC'ly, and it's really been a treat meeting you and getting the opportunity to fuck up royally alongside you.

- Last (for now) goes to Genise for her fucking /brilliant/ rp with Haylie last evening. Her portrayal was intense and sad and very very believable - she was the consumate professional in light of the circumstances, and again, I know how hard it is to be the one standing toe to toe with a pack of angry Riders. It can be utterly overwhelming, and you handled it beautifully.

There will be more as I think of them, but those are the four that have completely reminded me of why I'm an elitist roleplayer asshole. Thank you folks, truly.

The RPing the last three weeks A-side has reached new heights of fuckawesomeness. Seriously. Anybody who thinks "RP is dead" on Feathermoon is full of it. And anybody who thinks that "we're a bunch of elitists" needs to see all the new folks that have joined in and been part of things lately. All the Burning Valor folks, Anna's and Arrens' blogfriends that have rolled alts to come try their hand at RP, and more. It's just been fan-damn-tastic all around.

QFT. I don't know what to say to add to what's already been said here, except that I'm very glad I'm on this server. To pull off the kind of storyline that can pull anyone in and give them a chance to enjoy it really takes style. Not to mention, nights like that make staying up till 2am not such a crazy thing to do. My hat's off to everyone involved.

I can't say anything more than what has already been said here. The RP has been flowing like good whiskey in the Pig, people are involved, new people are getting involved, and I can't get over how awesome it is to log in and be a part of that.

The obvious solution for my dilema is for one of you RP hogging alliance people to come Hordeside and deal with crap so I can take a break.

Especially curious about what Haylie did. Seems like that character would have been one to slip under the radar, which now seems to be a remarkable underestimation.

If I could somehow hack WoW and replace the statue of Wrynn in Valiance Keep with one of Jolly (giving the finger in Icecrown's direction, naturally), I would. But I can't, so I'm just gonna imagine it's like that anyway.

Hell, I'd just like to say thanks to everyone for letting this nublet come around and be part of the awesome. You guys have all made me very, very happy I decided to resurrect my warlock from the depths of character deletion and transfer him to FM. From the bottom of my heart, I mean it when I say that this game would once more be a part of my past and not my present were it not for all the fantastic people and the crazy good RP that's going on right now.
