Ulth's right, can't forget Kull. Kull was Chuck Norris before Chuck Norris.

Folks like Laucin and Sponge, loved those oily skirt chasers, even with the drama-llama moments. Remember the hunting parties assembled at night because if you flagged up in Stormwind, generally you'd be eating dirt a moment later thanks to the horde rogues prowling about. I miss those long AV's with Mixler, because if he was there, it was gonna be fun and insane.... then again, most of the things Mixler did were insane. The Tri-City for example.

<3

Ok so, these are all really really AWESOME stories?

But... to actually tell them all would take WEEKS. Plus, I'm doing a post on how server history is different and affects things that happen later on (like Feathermoon and the Battle for Hillsbrad). So if/when you see the post, you don't see the stories you brought up, it's not because I did'nt read them or didn't care. Just that I want to avoid a giant three day list of inside jokes and such, and instead want to make (something of a) (possibly weaksauce) point.

So. <3 And keep talking about this stuff, 'cause even if it doesn't end up on the internet, it's fun!

I think it's interesting how inter-faction rp stories and even events seem to have lessened so much over time. I wonder why that is. Not even just friendly type rp between factions, I think there used to be a lot more rivalry stories between factions as well.

Personally, I used to participate in a LOT of cross-faction RP and I got burnt and burnt hard by PvP fuckery. People tend to act like jerks in PvP, or act in a way that can't be explained promptly in a setting with absolutely no clear communication. The last cross-faction event I did was a funeral where the PvP flag disease spread and halfway through the service, some one MC'd some one else and eventually the one faction that had a much lower turn out to the event, got curbstomped; I got MC'd off a cliff and I was helping to run the event. The forum consuming debate on respecting RP and being polite by turning off your flag (and how many people were against that), really scalded me on cross-faction events, and to be honest, on large events in general. RP events and large storylines are really hard to pull off well in the first place, trying to facilitate them in a setting with very little clear communication is incredibly difficult to do without dramaz.

In better memories and speaking of amazing cross-faction events, has the Peace Summit been mentioned? That touched off a LOT of cross-faction RP back on Old School Feathermoon, including treaties that got broken, characters nearly getting lynched, and did, I believe, eventually help sow the seeds for the Tri-City Assault.

Ahhh that's right. It's all coming back to me now.

And yeah, the Peace Summit is something I think worth mentioning. On a personal note I believe that's where Shaila first met Tarquin.
