Re: AddOn Experience
I don't but I know that Imbarand has been working on writing a alt manager add on.
Tarq or I could put you in touch with him.

Re: AddOn Experience
I just have the one question: How crazy difficult is to write one?

As someone in a similar situation to you:Bricu wrote:I just have the one question: How crazy difficult is to write one?
It isn't. Just, you have to learn LUA first, which learning your first few programming languages outside of the very first one is difficult. Sorta.
Outside that though, it isn't too bad! Lots of trial and error. Word of advice: Turn off all of your other mods before working on anything, else you're drive yourself batty XD
Re: AddOn Experience
I was reading some of the stuff on WoW Wiki and ACE 3, and it didn't seem crazy diffiuclt. I think it'll be a good idea to try and write it once I finish other writing things. I figured a few folks here would be willing to test it (once I stop being so sekrtive). if folk want to be a part of my team, this may be decent experience for my upcoming career change.
Re: AddOn Experience
I have a load of Addons I use. If you need someone to test I'll be happy. I can't work on the Lua but I'll be happy to see how it plays with other addons and toss the errors I get at you if need be.
Either way I wish you the best of luck with them!

The most difficult part is configuring a UI for it.
A rhombus is the kind of rectangle a bitch would draw.
