There's absolutely no harm in starting the new forum NOW. A lot of us have seen the cutscene, and can post our short paragraph on our character's role in the struggle. And because it's a seperate forum, people that don't want spoilers can just not look.

So from quickly scanning through this thread again, it seems like the general idea is that folks will be considering Arthas defeated with this next upcoming patch. Since there's going to be a 1-week interval between the introduction of the patch and the opening of Ruby Sanctum, does this mean we'll basically be having a week of revelry, or are folks not going to be considering Arthas defeated until the Ruby Sanctum itself opens?

I'd be in favour of a week of revelry; certainly that gives us a small grace period before the black dragonflight decides that now is the time to take a collective crap on the red dragonflights lawn.

Well, this Tuesday is going to be a 24-hour maintenance day (from midnight to midnight, server time), so if the patch comes out then, then there will be a server-unavailable kind of patch night. So tavern RP celebrating Arthas' fall may likely have to be pushed back to a different day, or if Tuesday's the only workable day for people, potentially pushed back a week until Ruby Sanctum becomes available.

If there's just maintenance and no patch, then it's not a problem.

So MMO Champ thinks patch may drop tomorrow....
