H'okay! So in an effort to streamline some RP and honestly, my two accounts so I no longer have to pay for two accounts (goddamned book will hopefully sell so I can have riches and don't have to worry about things like this) you will notice on your friends list and in channels Víncenza taking the place of Darrows.

WHY? Couple reasons. Mostly RP related. Yva took Jak's name when they got hitched, and I did not relish the idea of trying to find a spelling variant on Balthasar as Hannah/Ceil has Mara Balthasar. Also, storywise their first kid is born pretty weak thanks to Yva's use of shadow fuckery before she knew she was pregnant. As the Balthasars plan on having other kids, she gets utterly terrified that she hurt her son accidentally, and Yva walks away from shadows and goes back to a much more legitimate trade of ice nuking people. She's still Yva and into some weird fucking stuff, but the shadow magic and demon wrangling days are done. This was something I planned from the get go, but didn't really implement (post conversation with Reubs) til this week.

BUT WHAT ABOUT FLAADHUN. Flaadhun lingers. He'll be evident in RP stories as THE THING THAT LIVES UNDER NIALL'S CRIB AND MAKES JAK ANGRY. I actually put it into the works a long time ago in Future Fics that Flaadhun binds to Niall (who shamelessly becomes a warlock like his mother). And really, to a demon as old as Flaadhy? Waiting 18 or so years for a new master ain't no thang.

BUT WHY DOES VINCENZA HAVE YVA'S MINIONS? Simple. Vinnie's rp has always been that she's a socialite first and foremost, and a closet case practitioner. She was afraid her affinity for the shadows would have a negative impact on her status in Stormwind. Yva ends up taking Vinnie on as an apprentice, quietly, and Vinnie "borrows" her demons under the guise of "NO REALLY THESE ARE YVA DARROWS AND THEY'RE PROTECTING ME". It's her cover up for the stuff she does so no one gets a wiff of what she's capable of and can use it against her in social circles. Is she as good of a magic wielder as Yva? No, but she's not bad. The problem is she's A) mostly self taught, and B) when she gets mad, things sort of start to melt . . . almost like a Dali picture. Yva's tutelage is needed so she doesn't do that to people's faces accidentally.

WHY DID YOU GQUIT? Vinnie's not a Rider. I may try and take her that direction, and it might not hurt for a bunch of criminal heathens to have a legitimate Connected Socialite in their mix. I'll have to brainstorm with Bricu and Tarq to see if it's something that could even fall into the realm of possibility.
