Ok, so part of this whole moving thing involves cleaning out of stuff. And today's "stuff" = my knitting bins. In which I found not one, not two, but THREE completed knit hats. They were originally intended for The Ships Project, but I accidentally used the wrong yarn for this batch and couldn't mail them. (The US Navy wants 100% wool. These are 75% wool, so they are machine washable, and not scratchy). Sadly, because they are partially wool, and long enough to fold up, they aren't very good for chemo caps either (chemo heads are sensitive to things like wool, or so I'm told). Sooooo I have some hats.
However, as you may know, I live in Houston. "Winter" here comes in 3 day bursts, and is rarely colder than 30 degrees. I do not need these hats.
If you would like one, they are free to a good home. Send me a PM and we'll work out how to get one to you. Size wise, they're very stretchy, kind of squashy, and should fit most. (And yes, the red one is Gryffindor colors). And they were made by my own two hands (plus a couple of knitting needles).
