So, ever iteration of the game has had it's irreplaceable items, all the way since vanilla. Those items which were itemised just so well, tier after tier of content later, you still were using it. Frozen Shadoweave sets. Stunherald. Scarab Brooches.
Hands up how many people are still using their ilvl 200 [Darkmoon Card: Greatness] trinkets?
So, what I'm starting is a small competition, a gamble if you will. I'm calling on people to make their predictions on what the [Darkmoon Brooch: Frozen Stunherald] of Cataclysm is going to be, and make a wager. I'm going to say in the vicinity of 2,500 gold each person, do be dealt to the winner once a general consensus has been reached. Of course, a few tiers into the new expansion, so this is a little bit of a long-term concern. But think of the kudos and gold you will earn if your prediction is correct.
I'll go first - I believe a BoE tier 11 ilvl-equivalent ring for healing is going to be the new expansion-long item. It may or may not have a gem socket in it. 2,500 says so.
Alright, your turn. Let's hear it.

It'll be another trinket- but this time, for dps casters. It will be proc-based only(no base stats), and have an interesting mechanic that has not been used before Cataclysm(such as, but not limited to, a trinket that puts up a stacking DoT on a target).
I'd put 2,500g into that pot.
